General
This site was purchased in the Spring of 2008 from surnaturelle.com (I highly recommend their services. Extremely cheap, with all features included. Also fast and friendly customer service). It is my second domain, the first being quixoticvibes.com, which you can take a peek at here.

Most of the coding was written by me in Dreamweaver, of course lots of it was copied/pasted/inserted by Dreamweaver itself for fastness. All of the graphics were made by me in Adobe Photoshop CS.

Title
The title astraljazz means a few things. I was bored of quixoticvibes and needed a change to something simpler yet still unique, but also something people could easily remember and something that I don't have to spend a few minutes explaining or spelling when I tell people about it, which was usually the case with quixoticvibes.com.

I also wanted to change the focus of the site a lot, to focus more on my artwork which I feel has been developing a lot lately, and actually set up some kind of portfolio. I picked astraljazz because I thought it was catchy, and also because I have a huge interest in space and the universe, hence the "astral" part. The "jazz" part can refer to my appreciation of jazz music (lots of fusion and acid and spacey jazz s'il vous plait!), but also refers to my forthcoming story of various types of conflict and adventure in my graphic novel, which is set on a distant planet in some other solar system in some other galaxy.

Purpose
My main goal for the site is to get my artwork noticed and build a strong portfolio. You also have a wide selection of things to buy through the site, including art commissions and web design services, custom clothing and jewellery, bits and bobs, and I will also be selling prints of my work through deviant art when I feel it gets to the right standard, so check back if you are interested!
